The following biographies are in place to give viewers a better understanding of the group members working on this project. They provide basic background information on, images of, and email addresses for the students who make up Group 7. Any queries about the heat pipe designed and explained within this blog may be directed to any of the three students hereafter introduced.
Karen Chu: research, fabrication, Team Mom
Ben Teperov: research, Team Leader
Benjamin is a computer engineering major at Drexel University, and is currently pursuing a minor in writing. Ben’s engineering interests include not engineering, or doing anything STEM related, and he is filled with self-loathing at the prospect of four more years of this. In his free time, Ben enjoys breathing into paper bags and trying to summon the Underlords to take dominion of the mortal plane. In terms of experience, Ben codes sometimes. He likes Java. Kind of. Ben asks that all questions regarding the HamPipe be directed away from him.
Karen is a first year student pursuing an Electrical Engineering major and a Physics minor. Career-wise she has strong interests in robotics, particle physics and STEM education. Karen has some experience in machining parts, particularly using mills and lathes; Computer Aided Design; and soldering. In her free time, she typically likes to play video games, do art, sing, read, and peruse the vast mosaic that is the internet. On occasion, she enjoys long walks on the beach to contemplate how infinitesimally small life is compared to the scale of the universe and make cute sand castles. Through this project Karen hopes to learn heat transfer concepts that she can apply to future research projects and overall create an effective heat pipe with her comrades

Noelle Kownurko: research, fabrication, BlogMaster
Noelle is a mechanical engineering major at Drexel University. She is interested in the energy industry from both the technical and political sides, so better understanding heat transfer through this project is pretty exciting for her. In her spare time, Noelle enjoys pestering her dog, wandering aimlessly around Philadelphia, watching YouTube videos, and hanging out with her friends and family (cliche, she knows). Noelle has limited experience in soldering copper piping (tubing?) and knows someone both patient and smart enough to train her on how to build things, so she has been asked to join the fabrication team. Overall, Noelle is thrilled that she is able to begin her illustrious travelling engineering-based news journalist blogging career by curating this ENGR 103 blog.
