It was day one in ENGR 103. The goals set forth were simple: form a group, make a plan, research as much as physically possible, and build a superior heat pipe. After Professor Speidel gave instructions at the beginning of the class, Karen Chu, Noelle Kownurko, and Ben Teperov gathered themselves into a group which would henceforth be known as Group 7 (unofficially HamPipe™). Once formed into a group, the trio moved forward in the project progression, designating specific tasks to individuals, and researching heat pipes and their various uses. Ben was elected the team leader, Karen: lead researcher, and Noelle the Blogmaster. Noelle and Karen decided to take point on fabrication, whereas Ben took responsibility for the notebook, and everything that goes into and comes out of it. Group 7 spent a significant amount of time brainstorming what they would use their heat pipe for before realizing that the main goal was to build a heat pipe as efficiently as possible. Before class was over, Karen suggested a meeting time for next Monday, and the others agreed enthusiastically. The group set a goal to fully understand the inner workings of heat pipes as thoroughly as possible before meeting again on Monday evening.

Excellent!
